Game of Thrones Season 7:  Leaks, trailers and release date for episode 6 ‘Death Is The Enemy’

All the latest Game of Thrones season 7 trailers, plus key details like the show’s cast, UK air time, and episode 6 release date – and some leaks and spoilers for the truly brave after HBO Spain accidentally leaked episode 6 ‘Death Is The Enemy’ in full.

Unless you’ve come down with a serious case of greyscale lately, you probably know that the latest season of Game of Thrones is now well underway.

Compared to episode 4 ‘The Spoils of War’, Episode 5 ‘Eastwatch’ was a relatively sedate affair, but things look set to gather pace once again in episode 6 as Jon Snow leads his rag-tag band north of The Wall to confront the White Walker army.

Here’s everything we know so far about the next Game of Thrones season 7, starting with the latest news that HBO has leaked the next episode.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Leaks: HBO Spain leaks ‘Death Is The Enemy in full

The only place where more heads are likely to roll than Westeros? HBO’s Spanish offices, after it was discovered that HBO Spain (or HBO España) accidentally aired season 7 episode 6 ‘Death Is The Enemy’ in full.

Subscribers to the pay TV channel had 100% legal access to the episode for an hour via the service’s on-demand element, before the mistake was realised and the episode taken down.

An hour is more than enough time for the internet to act, though, and episode 6 is now understood to be doing the rounds on a number of popular torrenting sites, as well as reddit.

We won’t spoil it for you (or ourselves) – you should be especially wary of dodgy torrents and streams, as arrests have been made recently – but those who want it will no doubt find it easy enough to locate.

Now, on to the trailers for those of who like to play by the rules.

Prior to that, we saw ‘Weeks Ahead’ preview unveiled at Comic-Con 2017, which teases a number of key season 7 moments – not least the long-awaited meeting between Daenerys and Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones Spoilers: HBO hack latest news

Just can’t wait to learn what happens next?

Well, apparently neither can hacking types, as HBO recently confirmed it had suffered a major breach, with hackers revealing they had up to 1.5TB of data relating to top HBO shows like Game of Thrones and Ballers – including scripts (and therefore spoilers) for Game of Thrones season 7.

The group behind the hack have since posted another small sample online, which features spoilers for Game of Thrones episode 5, ‘Eastwatch’. It also seemed to reveal their motivation – money. The hackers have made an anonymous ransom demand of HBO, which the network almost certainly won’t pay, but it’s another twist.

Prior to the HBO hack, our teasers for season 7 were largely based on leaks from the Game of Thrones set, including:

  • Jon Snow finally meets Daenerys Targaryen, who is his aunt (despite being younger than him)
  • Theon Greyjoy will fight his uncle Euron Grejoy
  • Gendry is (almost certainly) coming back
  • Sansa Stark will (almost certainly) make it through the season, despite rumours she was to be killed off

But what’s more interesting is the major plot leak that was posted to Reddit last year. A user called /u/awayforthelads posted what he claimed were important plot points on the website, citing his source as a friend of a friend.

The account has since been deleted, but another Reddit user has compiled the information in chronological order.

We’ve got no way of verifying whether or not any of the following is true, but it’s worth taking a look if you’re interested in (and not afraid of) spoilers.
